Does anyone remember the soap opera from the 60's/70's called Dark Shadows?? Did you used to watch it? What can you remember about it??

I remember Dark Shadows from the 70's. It had vampires, werewolves and a little bit of everything evil. It waspurposely shown as a dark, evil show.

Mostly I remember seeing some of the actors in later movies, soaps, TV shows, etc. Like:



Louis Edmonds played Roger Collins, Joshua Collins, Edward Collins and other members of the Collins family.

(He later went on to All My Children, where he played Langley Wallingford/Lenny Wlasuk from 1979-1995)



Kate Jackson played Daphne Harridge. (ex-Charlie's Angel)



Child actor(actress) Denise Nickerson played Amy Jennings, Nora Collins, and Nora Jennings.

(most people know her for playing gum-chewing Violet Beauregarde in the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory)



There were some others, but these 3 stick in my mind the most.

I don't remember the original one, but in the late 80's or early 90's(I'm not really sure)they remade it and updated it. I liked it, but it didn't even last a whole season. It was about vampires or something.

Oh yes! (and I wouldn't call myself OLDER! lol). I rememer that it started with a woman holding a candle and the candle got blown out. I loved it.. couldn't wait 'til it came on.

Yes, I watched it every afternoon after school...except I think I never did find out what happened in the last episode (think it was wrapped up somehow? maybe poorly?)....

lol, all i can really remember is we used to watch it in the early seventies. think there were vampires.

it had a scary theme and a boy named Kaleb

1960`s......... i was little and it was a scary to watch

there was a lot of accidents on the set and some people died

so it was canceled [spelling??]
