OMG, Jewels, that's going waaay too far back! The only character I remember is Barnabas- I'd pick David Hayward to play him.

My favorite show of all time! Well, since I don't keep up with soaps, I would say do just like they did in the original. Get one well known superstar to play Liz Stoddard and fill the rest of the cast with superbly talented actors and actresses nobody has seen anywhere else yet. BTW, There IS a new Dark Shadows movie coming soon with Johnny Depp in the role of Barnabas.

The only one I remember was Barnabas Collins, and I would want Zach Slater or evil David Hayward to play him.

I remember running home after school so we wouldn't miss it! My brothers loved it too!!!



As for the characters -- they would have to do like they did back then mostly unknowns -- give some new blood (so to speak) to the show and give them a chance to shine and become famous too. Does any one remember Kate Jackson? one of the original Charlie's Angels played on Dark Shadows,.... long before she was an "Angel"
