Cole on one life to live?

Question

Okay, I have a few questions about this show.

1) I just started watching this show in May or June (right about the time when Tina came back, Marty was moved into Todd's, etc). I saw old You Tube clips of Cole living with his mother (who did not look like the same person who plays Marty now) and some guy who was involved with Todd. What was the deal with his step-dad, and how did he end up living with Clint and Nora?

2) Natalie- is she really Jessica's sister or not? I am confused on how her and Rex are brother and sister. Also- how did Nash die, and why does everyone blame Natalie and Jared? How did Nash's death result in the loss of the company?

If someone could fill me on some of this, I would appreciate it. I know its a lot of information, it's just some stuff I have been curious about. Thank you : )

Christine Chambers was playing Marty for a while. SHe was fired so they could bring back the original one, Susan Haskell - the one that shows her teeth all the time. (I preferred Christine).

When Marty was supposedly killed in Ireland, Nora offered Cole a home. She and Marty were friends. Clint lives with Nora in the house she inherited from Asa (dead) - Clint's dad.

Natalie and Jessica are twins but have different fathers.

Nash accidentally died after he accused Natalie of being a tramp and got right into her face. Jared pulled him away and he fell through a skylite.

1. That was Miles Laurence, he blackmailed MArty into marrying him to keep Cole out of jail for shooting him, and that was the 2nd Marty, the girl playing her now, is the original. Marty and Nora were best friends and she left Cole in her care should anything ever happen to her.

2.Yes Natalie and Jessica are twins although they have 2 different fathers. Nash died when Jared scheme to pass himself off as a Buchanan was revealed. HE was gonna save Nash's vineyard but he couldnt since he was not a B, they fough and Nash fell through a skylight. Natalie knew about him being a fake and said nothing.

1. The woman who played Marty when she first came back to town was Christia Chambers. Susan Haskell(the current Marty) is the same one who played her when she first was on the show years ago. Cole never had a step father.



2. Nat and Jess are twins. Clint is Nat's father and Mitch is Jess' father. Mitch though nat was his and kindapped her when she was born. he gave her to Roxy, Roxy then had her son Rex. Roxy raised Nat as her own. Jared pretended to be a Buchanan. Nat went along with it, Dorian found out. She announced this info at a BE meeting. Nash was making a deal with Jared and BE. Because of the fraud, all deals made with BE were illegal. Nash atacked Jared and Jared pushed him through a skylight and he died.

it explains how natalie and jess are sisters, how natalie and rex and bother and sister, but why jessica and rex are not brother and sister LOL. also, it goes into details about miles lawrence (the guy in the youtube videos). also, it talks about marty and the actresses that have played her. it explains cole, even though most people did a good job of that already. also, there is like bonus material too.

To make a long story short, fan fav Susan Haskell reprised her role as the original Marty Saybrooke. She was scheduled to return to OLTL much sooner but had to decline due to her second pregnancy. What you saw was a temporary recast portrayed by Christina Chambers. Cole's stepdad, the love-stricken Miles Laurence, blackmailed Marty into marriage under the condition that he wouldn't present her confession that she murdered Dr. Spencer Truman as substantial evidence (even though, she saw it happen but didn't kill him. Her memory blocked out the part that Lindsay Rappaport did.) Marty is believed to have died in a car explosion to everyone except Todd Manning and Jessica Buchanan as Tess. The newly orphaned Cole can't live independently so Nora substituted as Marty's friend.



So far, it was subject to change but Natalie is Jessica's sister for now. Natalie was separated from her twin half-sister from birth and was therefore raised with the Balsoms, who she thought was her real family. She still considers Rex as her brother.



When a multiple personality of Jessica Buchanan did a prank that got Jared incarcerated, he posed as a Buchanan to start his revenge in hopes of inheriting a portion of the late Asa Buchanan's will and because he admired how close Asa's family was in comparison for being abandoned by his drunkard dad and abused by his stepfather. Jared fell in love with his would-be niece, Natalie Buchanan and confessed his impersonation of substituting David Vickers as the real long-lost Buchanan son so that they could accept their mutual feelings. Because Vickers is a selfish con artist, they agreed that the Buchanans would never know until Dorian Lord discovered. The family praised Jared for helping them retain the company. But in Asa's will, only a Buchanan family member could do that so Jared's work was rendered invalid as if he did nothing. And if he did nothing, Buchanan Enterprises would be sold to the highest bidder: Dorian Lord. Dorian Lord drugged Jared's birth dad to silence him from revealing Jared's identity so that he could start anew with Victoria Davidson, mother to several Buchanan children. Nash got in a fight with Jared who made him lose his vineyard how that the wealth Jared used pay off the bills is now defunct. Jared pushed him off a skylight and he died

sure Marty is Cole's mom and yet another humorous actuality is Cole's father Patrick additionally had a stillborn infant with Blair (Starr's mom) so as that would have meant that Cole and Starr could have shared a brother. lol

Ok, first off let's talk about Marty. Marty Saybrooke was originated by Susan Haskell, who has played her from January 1992 through September 1997, making brief appearances in 2004 and 2005. The role was briefly played by Christina Chambers, who played the role from November 2006 to December 2007. (That is the woman you saw in the old clips.) Susan Haskell returned to the role on contract in June 2008.



In November m2007, Cole got kidnapped. Marty and John open up to each other and make love, she gets kidnapped where she is found with her son in Ireland. After trying to escape John and a member of the FBI try making a deal to get them home safely. The van in which they are in is shot, Cole is thrown from the van as it plummets off a cliff, and Marty forces John to find Cole, because she is nothing without her son. As John saves Cole, the van in which Marty is trapped in blows up and Marty is presumed dead. Cole and John fly back to Llanview. Miles, Cole's step-dad, is devastated to hear that Marty has been killed in an explosion in Ireland; on the docks, Miles stumbles upon a distraught Cole holding a gun to FBI agent Lee Ramsey, whom Cole blames for his mother's death. Cole accidentally shoots Miles, who falls into the water. (Miles had blackmailed Marty into marrying her and Cole knew there was something wrong with the ay his mom was with Miles. He didn't like or trust him.)



Nora took Cole in after all that happened and he lived with her.





Now for the Nat/Jess/Rex issues..

Roxy was introduced in 2001 as the wild, irresponsible mother of Natalie and Rex Balsom. It was revealed, that Natalie was actually the biological daughter of Viki and Clint. At first it was believed that when Allison Perkins had kidnapped the Buchanan baby in 1987, another child was returned and grew up to be Jessica Buchanan. Jessica began a tenuous relationship with Roxy, whom she believed to be her mother, and with Roxy's biological son Rex. But when a DNA test on Jessica proved that she was also Viki's daughter, the real story came out.

Mitch Laurence, who had masterminded the kidnapping, had secretly raped a drugged Viki around the same time she conceived a child with Clint. Viki unknowingly became pregnant with fraternal twins, one fathered by Clint (Natalie) and the other fathered by Mitch (Jessica). Dr. Walter Balsom, who had been one of religious leader Mitch's disciples, took Mitch's daughter during delivery, and Viki never knew she'd had more than one child. Mitch, however, wanted his daughter to grow up loved by Viki in the lap of luxury, and sent Allison to kidnap Clint's child. They replaced her with Mitch's daughter (who would become Jessica), and gave Clint's daughter (who would become Natalie) to Dr. Balsom and his wife Roxy. Walter later died, and Roxy turned out to be an irresponsible and absent mother for much of Natalie's childhood in Atlantic City, New Jersey.



In the spring of 2008, Nash becomes involved with mysterious investors willing to help him with his vineyard and make the Brennan Winery a major success, supplying Nash with large sums of cash to overhaul the business. Nash begins working with Jessica's cousin Sarah Roberts, making multiple trips to California as part of a promotional launch tour. Unfortunately, Nash realizes too late that the investors want to steal his land out from under him, and turn it into a "Mall of Tomorrow." Desperate, Nash agrees to Jared's offer to buy the winery via Buchanan Enterprises in order to save his lifelong dream and keep his family's home from being bulldozed. Nash's eleventh-hour salvation disappears, however, when Dorian Lord outs Jared as a fraud at the BE shareholders' meeting, and reveals that all transactions and contracts made by Jared are now null and void. Malcolm and the investors promptly swoop in and take Nash's land once and for all, ordering Nash and Jessica to move out. Enraged, Nash confronts Jared, blaming him and Jessica's sister Natalie for their deception and the loss of his vineyard. When Nash gets in Natalie's face, Jared shoves him away, and Nash accidentally trips over a railing, falling through a skylight to the floor of the Palace Hotel far below.
