Does anyone like the DARK SHADOWS soap that was on in the 60s? I am wanting to purchase the DVD and don't know

which one to buy. I would like the one where Barnabas first enters the show. I've seen Dark Shadows: DVD Collection 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. I don't think he entered the show at the first. Does anyone know the exact name of this DVD?

I've heard that they will be making another Dark Shadows serial, but I'm not sure when it might make it to tv.



I can't imagine that it can be anywhere near as good as the original. Without Johathan Frid as Barnabas, how could it be????

The 1st collection starts with the Collins clan meeting Barnabas. It has a small clip of what happened before that, though.

BTW, there was talk of making a new Dark Shadows series, but I think the idea was dropped. However I read two articles this last summer that Johnny Depp is seriously considering making a Dark Shadows movie, and he would play Barnabus Collins. I really hope it happens!

yeah, the 1st collection is the best
