How in the H3LL is Niki Newman on Y&R........?

Question

How is she not even hurt? Didn't Ashley really hit Niki with her car the night of the storm? That was the same night that Niki had went to see Victor before she left because she told him that the reason she could not go through with the wedding was because she still was very so much still in love with him.

Now we all saw that episode correct? Ashley went off looking for Victor and he had run off to try and catch Niki so that he could tell her that he to still felt the same about her, well he didn't catch her but Ashley sure did and hit Niki with her car!

Niki was wearing a black rain coat and saw the car coming and just stood there like a deer caught in a pair of head lights...and instead of Ash seeing Niki face at the time, she saw Sabrina's face but later on remembered that it was Niki and not Sabrina, now remember Ashley's car had a dent in the front side of it so if she didn't hit and hurt Niki who did she hit?

come on people, Ashley was imagining that mess. Nikki was either not at the corner when Ashley was driving that taxi, or she was already gone when Ashley came through. As for what she hit, i don't know. maybe a deer of a tree or something, but she did not hit Nikki at all.....

I just answered a similar question. I think Nikki is waiting for Ashley to bring it up. But with Colleen's death, Ashley giving birth, and Victor in major surgery, Nikki is not going to bring it up, yet.



I think the other poster explained it well. Maybe Nikki was able to dodge the car before getting hit. (All this was filmed before or just as the contract negotiations to keep her were finalized. If she had not signed the contract, then we would have been having a Nikki funeral, but since she had and the scripts were already being filmed, she had to be re-written in.)

You would think with Nikki being back on the show that she would have said something about that night and seeing the car. Since they never actually showed what Ashley hit then it must of been a fence or a tree, who knows.

I think Ashley didn't hit Nikki, but she thought she did. If you remember, Nikki was standing in the middle of the road. Ashley swerved to the left, so it's possible that she ended up not hitting Nikki.

Well with the crazy writing lately, I'm guessing that sometime in the future, Nikki will need a spleen transplant from Tracey!!

Nikki probably jumped back before the car hit her...

Dropping her cellphone and everything, trying to catch a cab...

but really it was Ashley's car that drove off after hitting a tree.
