How to watch Eastenders episodes in India, BBC iplayer doesn't work, due to rights restrictions.?

Question

Considering Eastenders is a very popular soap and that there are many British living abroad, I find it really annoying that the BBC be so shortsighted and not allow us to view it on iplayer. But really I just need my fix!!!

Are there any websites apart from you tube which post episodes as soon as they are screened?

I never had a telly in the UK but used to watch online, so TV license is not an excuse for not enabling access abroad.

I'm sorry, I don't know, wish I did. I'm in the U.S., and love Eastender, but we are seeing shows 6 years behing the U.K. We can't get the BBC videos to work here, either, because they say,"not available outside the U.K."

HOWEVER, if you are desperate for info, or even if you find some shows to watch, but can't find all of them, this link that I will give you, has very good recaps of every single show for the past 20 yrs, or however long it has been on. When we had a hurricane here, and the power was out, I found this site.

You may be able to get it on the BBC channels on cable in other countries but you cant get it legally on the internet and even illegally you're relying on someone posting it on line and that seems very unlikely.



You could try contacting the BBC iplayer help but I'm assuming you've already tried that.
