On The Young and The Restless does anyone know the age difference between Avery and her sister Phyllis?

just wondering if Avery could be a daughter and not a sister to Phyllis and maybe Avery doesn't know and Phyllis hid the secret for Years and that's why Phyllis is so hung up on keeping Lucie Daniels daughter with her because she gave up a child years ago and feels guilty about it just wondering!

You should be writing for the soaps. That's a great idea. Maybe Phyllis got pregnant,had Avery and her parents refused to let her raise the child,so she split. There could be a minimal age difference,say 16 years and that would account for Avery's memories of Phyllis. Wow. There's all kinds of possibilities.

Avery mentioned that when Phyllis left, she was just a "tween" so I'm thinking she was like 12ish and Phyllis was around 15-16 so the age difference would be 3 or 4 years. I don't think it's possible for them to be mother & daughter. She is hung up on keeping Lucy because she never got to raise Daniel.

Michelle Stafford(Phyllis) is 46.

Jessica Collins (Avery) is 40.



So that wouldn't be possible for them to be mother/daughter. However... the writers can fudge those ages a lot for the characters if they want to.



But I think the real reason Phyllis resents Avery is because she's a half sister. Different fathers maybe. And Avery's father probably either neglected or abused Phyillis while coddling and favoring Avery(his REAL daughter).

Phyllis says she's 46, how come she looks 58? She looks like an old cougar preying on poor "never- gets- a- clue" Nick. Could Nick get a stupider looking haircut? Sock it to her Avery! Phyllis is deranged and deluded because she thinks she's better than Sharon. Phyllis never resists a chance to have sex with anyone. She is suddenly in love with (left blank on purpose) whomever she has a scene with. Why she doesn't see her own skankdom, is the real mystery. Phyllis is the female equivalent of a "WAD" whatever that is.

Avery said she idolized Phyliss just before Phyliss left. Phyliss was a teenager (I would say 16-17) when she left home, and Avery seems a bit younger, I would say she was 11-12 when Phyliss left.



Avery is a lawyer, and seems like she has been one for awhile- To be a laywer it takes 4 years of regular univeristy and then an addtional 4 years of law school as well. Avery would have to be late 30's to make this plausiable.



Phyliss is around 45 years old, and I would say Avery is about 37/38 years old.
