I miss Dark Shadows so much... Even Sci Fi Stopped playing it. I've even read the little books by the lady who played angelique. I wish the dvd sets were a little more affordable ....... and im Nervous about the Tim Burton movie version that's about the be in production... Johnny Depp as barnabas.... Theres just no replacing Jonathan Frid...

Glad theres still fans out there. by the way there is a fan club out there for those interested... Free... And we get a membership card, and a quarterly small magazine

Yes, I remembered watching Dark Shadows. It used to aired on a local station at 4pm. After school, I watched it with my mom. I love the theme song. It was so haunting. I wish it was still on too. Unlike others, I actually liked the re-make with Ben Cross as Barnabas.

Loved the show. HATED the movies that came out in the early 70s. Too gorey! Johnathan Frid has a website and still does some readings. I loved the music and have found Josette's Music Box online and some of the other music as well.

Last Summer I finished the entire series courtesy of Netflix. Loved it, still do. In the early Fall of this year I did the same thing with the 90's revival. I don't get the SciFi channel anymore (cable company re-org, I guess) but if I did, I would drop in now and again. I love the atmosphere.

Several years ago, it was part of the morning show lineup on the Sci-Fi Channel. So yes, I remember Dark Shadows.

You betcha. I was a teenager when it was on in the 60s. I was watching it on Sci Fi channel and then they decided not to carry it anymore. You would think that TV Land would carry it.

I liked Barnabas, Dr. Hoffman, Quentin, Carolyn, etc. Sadly, most of the cast has passed on like Grayson Hall (Dr. Hoffman), Thayer David (Prof. Stokes) to name a few.

My favorite storyline was when Quentin and Daphne's (kate Jackson) ghosts possessed David and Amy (shades of Turn of the Screw by Henry Miller). There were other storylines which were interesting like when Quentin was a werewolf but his portrait took on the werewolf (shades of Dorian Gray).....It was an unique show,

Barnabas Collins? Yes,I remember very well,I was a young girl then and we were one of the few families in our block who had a tv,so all the neighbors would come to our house to watch it,had a hard time going to bed with vampire scenes in our heads, but wouldn't miss it for the world.

yes and I never watched it. My mom did, though. She watched it ALL the time.

No I dont wish it was still on. That would ruin the originality of the show, I think.

But yeah,I vaguely remember it and i love vamps to this day because of it.

The original, I'm too young. However I've seen reruns. My Mother would regale me with tales of how she drooled over Barnabas in her youth!

The remake I watched religiously when it first aired and then again when it was rerun a few years later!

OMG! I LOVED that show! I wonder if some of the actors are even still alive. (Johnathan Frid, for example)
