On y & r , why are they using the same storyline with sharon/nick/phyllis that they are using with?

chloe/sharon/billy? have you noticed it? phyllis and nick are splitting up because sharon's pregnant and the baby may be his and he's still in love with her, and then chloe and billy will probably split up also because sharon's pregnant and the baby may be his and he's in love wtih mac. it's aggravating and annoying to me that the writer's are using the same storylines with different characters. they need something new and a change.

I agree with you and whats so bad is that they expect us to like the same story line over and over, I feel sorry for the actors who have to tolerate such bad stuff which is some of the reason Adam quit he had not been happy with the way they were writing his part as well as the reason Drucilla left, they need to fire the writers they have and hire some one new, and the fact that they want every one pregnant is sick any way. next Tyra will be pregnant and I would not be surprised after Jack and Phyllis hit the sheet she becomes pregnant too. and we don't even see the kids they do have on the show, I think Sharon as well as Ashley should both have miscarriages and that way they could move on to a real story.

Mac makes a sacrifice for Delia.

Mac calls off her engagment to Raul.

Chloe takes off her wedding ring and throws it at Billy.

Nina finds out that Violet wasn't in GC when P3/Cane was born and Nina gets suspicious all over again.

Nina plans to exhume P3 body. She does and THERE IS NO BODY IN IN P3 casket. Nina faints.

Cane freaks out and calls Langley again.

ETA: I forgot to add that apparently Nina finds out that Phillip IV is sick & that may or not be part of the reason P3 is exhumed. It was weird wording but it sounds like it might be part of the reason.



The Bad Spoilers:

Ashley gets a package that disturbs her.

Adam needs more botox.

TGVN catches Adam playing a recording of Sabrina's voice & now Adam won't be able to close the door. LMAO like a 16 year boy with his girlfriend in the room.

Regarding Chris Engen leaving the show. Well, it's about time someone took a stand on what they believe in. Too bad other actors and actresses haven't done the same when they're given crap to deliver on screen. I congratulate Mr. Engen for standing up for what he believes in and not follow what the majority thinks he should do. Shame on Y&R for treating their actors with such disregard in their storylines. I can't believe they would write a kissing scene into Adams character when this was clearly never in his makeup or storyline to date. Are they going for some type of shock value, trying to get more gay viewers? Come on, if they wanted to write in a gay storyline, just start a new character, but changing someone's entire character, that's crap! Why don't they just have Victor do a kissing scene? Yeah, that ought to boost ratings! Something I would like to watch. If this is the way they want to go with the show. Y&R lost a great actor. I didn't like the direction they were taking Adam; they could have found a better story line. This was a bit unbelievable. This guy could clearly act unlike some of the other deadbeats the show has on. Start weaning out the bad ones Y&R, and try and keep your talented actors and actresses on board

The writers are probably squabbling over the direction this is going, have you seen the credits its more than 5. The head writer needs to get together with the historian so they can determine the character's past & motivations and how he/she wold react in the current situations Chloe just didn't make any sense today. Why bother going to the pool house if she had no intention of making up? Billy brought up several valid points. He didn't say he was going to be a good faithful husband, he just married her because of Delia, so Cane would not get custody, to help Chloe against the attack that she is not a good mother. And technically, Billy was not her husband when he and Sharon had sex. It was the night before the wedding, and she knew that Billy was not in love with her. Heat does not automatically equal to love. Hopefully heads will role and good writers will write better stories!

Along with you and the rest, I agree that the writing lately has been terrible and I think the worst I have ever seen on Y&R and I've been watching for years.



It seems like all they know how to write about anymore is story lines that involve a who's the daddy theme, dead people coming back as ghosts, women clinging to, pining after and barely being able to even breathe without their man, and most of Genoa City hopping from bed to bed with someone different every second. Not only that, but the story lines are very repetitive, boring on go on for an eternity.



Something has got to give with the writers and hopefully sooner rather than later!

I agree with you, it is getting ridiculous as well, it makes the storyline a little phony because at first Phyllis was pregnant with Nick's child and all sudden now Sharon is pregnant and he could be the father. I am also frustrated with the whole Sharon adn Nick thing, I mean one minute she says that she is in love with(anybody should follow their heart) and the next minute she those things in his face and then the she don't want to have anything to do with them.

Yep! The writing on the show has definitely gone down. They need to get better storylines and stop recycling old stories. How many more old characters are they going to bring back to the show? There needs to be new, innovative storylines but the writing has been in a slump for months! The show barely received any nominations this year and sadly I do not think it deserved too many. I have watched Y&R for many years and this is the worst months of storylines I have seen in a long time.

i think it will get more interesting once the dna test is done. i would like to see chloe tell sharon off though. the scenes with sharon and phyllis are usually pretty good. they have some good one liners to each other.
