Is 90210 a continuation,reboot,or a spin-off to Beverly Hills,90210?

Is it considered a continuation,meaning is there any characters from beverly hills 90210 on the show? Because i know there is a history between the teenagers parents. Or is it a reboot,meaning the exact same characters from the original but told differently. Or is it a spin-off meaning completly different characters but from the same school and place.

Technically, it's a continuation since Erin Silver was on the original show and they had Kelly, Brenda and Donna come on.

I'd say spin-off, completely different characters and storylines. It started off in the beginning as a coniutation, the characters of Brenda/Nat/Kelly/Donna were all back for the first season then the producers decided to go for a different route in season 2 to present.
